Review : My pilgrimage to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala was a journey of devotion and patience. After waiting for two days and climbing 2,388 steps, the long-awaited darshan finally came at 6AM. Five hours of waiting led to just five precious seconds in the divine presence—an unforgettable moment of deep connection. In that instant, time seemed to stop, and my soul felt one with the divine. That brief encounter remains a guiding light, reminding me that true devotion is not about time but about the depth of our faith. - Star Rating :

Review : Devotees, Please Be Aware Before Planning Tirumala Darshan
I visited Tirumala on June 1st hoping for Lord Venkateshwara Swamy’s darshan, but I am deeply disappointed to share that after waiting in the free darshan queue for over 20 hours, I had to leave without having darshan. The system is broken, and this message is a sincere request to help others avoid similar pain and disappointment.
**Current Darshan Options at TTD:**
1. **₹300 Special Entry Darshan** – Bookable online in advance.
2. **₹10,500 VIP/Break Darshan** – Mostly available to VIPs or via influence.
3. **SSD Token Darshan (Free)** – Available at counters (bus stand, railway station, etc.) at **5 PM daily**. People wait for **6+ hours in queue** to get this token for the next day (Aadhaar is mandatory).
4. **No Token Darshan (Free)** – You can go directly to Tirumala without a token, but the wait time exceeds **20–24 hours**.
5. **Tour & Travel Agencies** – Some offer “adjustments” for darshan, often unofficial.
6. **TTD Staff Access** – Staff with ID cards can access VIP lines.
**My Experience with No Token Darshan:**
* I stood in the queue for **over 20 hours** and still couldn’t get darshan. No movement for hours, restrooms were filthy, and no proper seating or arrangements for children, women, or senior citizens.
*TTD staff and police allegedly took bribes (₹500–₹1000) to allow people to skip the queue via No Token queue backdoor exit entry. At the exit gate, people were joining the queue illegally like Gate Number 25, 20 etc, having paid staff to mark a number on their hand and get access by showing it to police.
* Laddu counters, Bag Counters, mobile counters and Slippers counters were poorly managed.
**Additional Observations:**
Free tickets are being illegally sold for ₹500 or ₹1000 on the roadside. That ticket is genuine but photo capture is not visible in the tickets
* For No Token devotees, the wait is 24+ hours for the darshana.
* TTD is one of the highest revenue-generating temples in Andra Pradesh, yet the service for normal devotees is extremely poor and worst.
**My Sincere Advice to Devotees:**
Please **do not come without an online ticket**. The free darshan system is broken and unjust, heavily favoring VIPs and those willing to bribe. It’s heartbreaking to see **common devotees suffer** after traveling with great faith and devotion.
I hope TTD Head or other authorities seriously look into these issues** and restore the sanctity, fairness, and service quality expected from such a holy place. - Star Rating :
