This temple is dedicated to to the Narasimha swamy an incarnation of lord vishnu.
This temple boasts of a beautiful stone chariot drawn by horses. The kalyana Mandapa with in the temple has 16 pilars with bad reliefs depicting the incarnations of Vishnu.
The artwork here has elements of similarity with that of Konark.Elephants, flowers and plants are portrayed in plenty.
On only one day we can see real god on chandanotsavam day festival season. - Star Rating :

Review : It is one of the most famous temples of Andhra Pradesh and receives a lot of donation. Crowd can be huge depending on day and time of visit. There are three types of entries - free, 100 rs and 300 rs. In 300 rs entry, you can go very close to the main deity. Phones aren’t allowed and needs to be deposited. The temple is situated on hill and it is a scenic ride from town of Vizag. - Star Rating :

Review : Such an amazing holy place… u literally have vibes. I was blessed to have Darshan of Lord Narasimha Swamy Avataram with Chandanam over his body in Rock Avataram. The temple is very historical and powerful. Lot of arrangements are there for devotees not to face huge que. beautiful ambience and weather outside temple, dedicated Prasadam and ticket counters. U have Darshan tickets for Sarva Darshanam, 100/- and 300/- Ruppes Darshan tickets and also Special
Pooja available at counter. The pulihora and laddu Prasadam tasted so yummy just because of God blessings. My suggestion to prefer 300/- ticket for best Darshan.
There is pillar inside temple called as Korikallu (Desires/wishes) pillar. To which everyone hugs and pray god for their desires to get fulfilled. A ticket of 50/- is charged for hugging the pillar.
Among all the temples of Lord Narasimha swamy u feel the Idol of God is different in here. Do visit for a blessings of Lord.
I hope the present government takes much more steps and makes this place more friendly and easier for devotees. - Star Rating :

Review : It has become so commercial. Everything has a rate and if people don't know Telugu then they are often easily manipulated by localites there. The temple inside was so peaceful and relaxing! Maintained well!
