  Review : Visited Sri Kamakshi Amman Hindu temple in Kancheepuram, an architectural marvel with impressive infrastructure. A historical landmark in India, the temple was clean and had a great ambiance. However, there's room for improvement in queue management; we waited for over 2 hours with no clear communication about the temple's opening time. Despite this, it was a nice experience.

Inside the temple, the main deity, Kamakshi, sits in a majestic Padmasana posture, symbolizing peace and prosperity. She holds a sugarcane bow, a bunch of five flowers, and wields a lasso and goad in her upper arms, while a parrot perches near the flower bunch.   Review : There is a free chappal stand at entrace. Interiors are somewhat dark, cannot clearly see idol of kamakshi Amman from distance, cannot see srichakram also from distance. But it is a great feeling to see the Kamakshi idol. Have to book for Pooja ahead of time by 1-2 days in the temple itself. Vishnu can be seen in a mirror on the back side. Annapoorna, Sankaracharya vigrahas are there when doing pradakshina. Beautiful koneru on back side of temple. Golden gopuram can be seen from back side.

  Review : Such a beautiful temple in Kanchipuram. We can go for free dharsan. And we can take some coconuts and bananas and take a ticket to see the idol nearby.
