The temple is located in Garhwal hills tracks in Chamoli district along the bank of Alaknanda river.
It opens for 6 months every year, it is one among 4char dham Yatra.

Review : Highly recommend. We visited in may and stayed for 1 day. The temple visit was fine, not much queue. It is just 10 minutes walk from where the bus or your private taxi drop.
