Review : This is my go-to temple for its peaceful vibes and the incredible experience it offers. The ride up the ghat road, especially on a bike, is thrilling and scenic. From the hilltop, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Mysore city.
Though it tends to get crowded, the wait is absolutely worth it. The area also features a large number of shopping stalls, adding to the lively atmosphere. - Star Rating :

Review : The scenery on the top is amazing. You can see the whole Mysore from the top. We were fortunate enough to witness the amazing weather which marked the monsoon for now. Review : Visited the famous Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore—an important spiritual landmark.
The temple sits atop Chamundi Hill and offers a divine, peaceful atmosphere.
However, it was extremely crowded during our visit, and we had to wait a long time in line.
The queue was quite long, especially near the darshan area, but it moved steadily.
Despite the rush, the temple staff managed the crowd fairly well.
The view from the top of the hill was stunning, with a clear view of Mysore city.
The temple architecture is beautiful, rich with history and carvings.
Devotees were patient, and the overall vibe remained calm and spiritual.
Shops around the temple sell prasad, souvenirs, and snacks—adds to the experience.
Parking can be a challenge during weekends or holidays due to the rush.
I recommend visiting early in the morning or on weekdays for a smoother experience.
Still, the darshan was peaceful and spiritually fulfilling once we reached inside.
It’s a must-visit place if you’re exploring Mysore—spiritually and culturally rich.
The hilltop breeze and scenic drive up add to the experience - Star Rating :
