  Review : Must visit in evening a little before aarti. Take a boat (cheapest rates as compared to any other religious place river boating). Relax and watch aarti of both UP and MP as it is on border. Enjoy laser light show. They have the most decorated boats. Cute

  Review : Ram Ghat is a very important holy place in Chitrakoot, on the Mandakini River. It is believed that Saint Tulsidas Ji met Lord Ram, his wife Sita, and his brother Lakshman Ji here. Tulsidas Ji wanted to see Lord Ram, so he asked Hanuman Ji for help. One day, while Tulsidas Ji was making sandalwood paste for Tilak, Hanuman Ji saw Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman Ji coming to the Ghat dressed as Saints. When Tulsidas Ji was about to put sandalwood Tika on Lord Ram’s forehead Hanuman Ji recited the following couplet (Doha):- "Chitrakoot Ke Ghat Par Bhai Santan Ki Bheed, Tulsidas Chandan Ghise Tilak Let Raghuveer." This meant, "Many holy people are here on the Chitrakoot riverbank. Tulsidas is rubbing sandalwood paste, and Lord Ram is about to get a forehead mark." This poem helped Tulsidas recognize Lord Ram, and that's why Ram Ghat is so sacred to devotees. Ram Ghat is also a place where people do special prayers for their ancestors, called Pitra Puja or Pitra Tarpan. Lord Rama did this for his father, King Dasaratha, at Ram Ghat. When you visit, you can sit on the steps by the river and feel very calm. You can also take boat rides, which is different from many other riverbanks. There's a big statue of Hanuman Ji giving blessings, and benches where you can watch people doing prayers and other religious activities. It is really impossible to describe how amazing the Ghat feels. If you go to Chitrakoot, you must visit Ram Ghat.

  Review : It has the old banaras vibe, old temples, small shops along the ghat, ganga aarti in the evening, a lot of colorful and decorated boats, but surely lacks cleanliness now, the river is also not clean probably like any other river we have. The attitude of a few of the local shops also was not good towards the tourists, they don't have the welcoming nature unlike other such holy places.
