Review : Jai Mansa Devi. A beautiful temple located on a hillock overlooking River Ganges, in Haridwar. Take the cable car and enjoy the scenic views enroute. Starting point for the cable car is located at 20 minutes driving time from Harki Pauri. You may also walk up till the base in the same time. The Base is too crowded with long queue for cable car tickets, shops and eateries. Take the cable car and enjoy the scenic views. Have a divine Darshan of Maa Devi and other devtas. Enjoy the experience of shopping enroute. No photography is permitted within the temple. - Star Rating :

Review : The temple is serene on the top of the hill. We took the ropeway to reach the top. It costs 200 per person for the round trip. We get a glimpse of the city view from the ride that lasts barely 2-3 mins. There is a shoe stand just before the entrance of the temple ... So one need not leave it near any shop and then be forced to buy stuff from them. There is a coconut breaking area at the back... Otherwise all the pooja stuff we buy is dumped into a box. So avoid buying those small red bags for Rs.100. Darshan shall be quick and one will get ample time to see and pray mata ji. On the way back for ropeway users there is a small cafeteria with snacks at affordable prices.
Non consent photography for the pure intent of making money is something I dislike. They should have made this optional. - Star Rating :

Review : Situated on a small hill. There is rope car facility. We waited for 20 minutes to board the rope car. It was a long walk from parking to the gondola boarding. Travel is only 3 minutes. Very well organised. Lot of security personnel guiding the visitors. On the Top not much crowd on that day. We had easy darshan.
The Gondola tickets costs Rs 440 for both temples. One can choose also.
The Devi is divine. Radiates so much positivity and assurance. - Star Rating :

Review : Mansa Devi Temple is a famous temple in Haridwar, located on top of a hill called Bilwa Parvat. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi, who is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees.
View from Haridwar: You can see the temple clearly from many places in Haridwar, as it sits high above the town. It looks especially beautiful in the early morning or evening.
How to Reach the Temple:
By Cable Car (Ropeway):
You can walk for about 10–15 minutes from Har Ki Pauri or the main Haridwar area to reach the ticket counter. It’s a short, easy walk through the market. The cable car ride is quick and gives you great views of the town and the Ganga river.
By Trekking:
There is a steep uphill path with around 1,000 steps. It takes about 30–45 minutes to reach the top if you go at a steady pace. The trek is tiring but gives you a peaceful experience through nature.
Tip: Carry enough water, wear comfortable shoes, and try to avoid trekking during hot afternoons. There are a few shaded spots to rest along the way, but not many stalls, so be prepared.
View from the Top: Once at the top, you’ll see a beautiful view of Haridwar city and the river Ganga flowing through it. It’s a peaceful and spiritual place, often with cool breezes.
About the Temple: Inside the temple are idols of Goddess Mansa Devi in two forms. Devotees often tie threads to a holy tree near the temple, making a wish. When their wish comes true, they come back to untie the thread. You can offer coconuts, flowers, and prasad at the temple.
History: The temple was built in the early 1800s by Maharaja Gopal Singh. It is one of the five important pilgrimage spots (Panch Tirth) in Haridwar.
Quick Tips:
Best time to visit: Early morning or evening (to avoid heat and crowd).
Cable car tickets may have long queues during weekends and holidays—go early.
Carry water, snacks, and a cap if you’re trekking.
Dress modestly and keep your belongings safe in the crowd. - Star Rating :

Review : The temple is on top of a hill. You can go on foot or by cable car. I went by cable car. The whole journey is 3 minutes but there is a queue of about 50 minutes. The temple itself is Hindu. It was very crowded but it is an interesting experience. The cable car entrance passes through a market, but there's not much to buy .
