  Review : One of the Famous Shakti Peetha of India. Nice temple with beautiful architecture. Priests are so greedy. There is a place called "Navi Gaya" inside the temple premises. Other temples are also present inside the temple premises." Pinda Dana " Rituals are also done here. Development work of the temple premises are also going on. Parking is also available but limited. Temple is situated between the Jajpur town which is connected with a narrow road.

  Review : Maa Biraja temple is one of the Ashtadasha Shakti Peethas that is situated in Jajpur Town. It is also known as Viraja Kshetra. Maa Durga is the principal deity here, who was worshiped as Maa Biraja. As it was one of the Shakti peethas, people from various states of India came here to worship Maa Biraja. You can easily come here, by any mode of transport. The nearest railway station to here is the Jajpur Road Railway Station. From there you can easily get buses which will lead you directly to the Biraja Temple. The nearest airport is Bhubaneswar. From there you can also get buses to Jajpur town. And you can get auto-rickshaw facilities to reach the temple. As I have visited the temple on a weekday from Jajpur road, I have to pay 70 rupees for the bus to reach there. After that, I reached there and there was not much crowd, which I had not expected. Then we took the darshan of Maa Biraja, and visited all the temples of various Goddesses all around the main temple. Navigaya temple, Baba Baidyanath temple, Hanuman temple and 54 Mahadev temple are some of the temples that are present inside. The temple's environment is very calm and there are no entry fees. The temple timings are 5:30 A.M.-1:30 P.M. and again 3 P.M.- 10 P.M. Timings may differ during festivals. Mobile phones are allowed inside the temple. You can have prasad inside the temple for 100 rupees only. The timing of the prasad is 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.

  Review : Peaceful temple, I am from Jajpur have been going here since childhood. One of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where Sati's navel is believed to have fallen. Home to Maa Biraja in her fierce Mahishasuramardini form. A powerful spiritual site with rich history, vibrant festivals & Tantric traditions.

  Review : The temple is very beautiful... It's constructed in odia style... It's a very old and ancient temple... One of the eighteen shakti peeth Maa biraja devi is 11th shakti peeth often referred as odiyan girija devi... There is free parking space outside the temple.. There are many small temples surrounded by main temple.. I visited on weekdays there were hardly few people... Within few minutes we had dharshanam... I urge people to go directly to main temple from the main gate if you go from side gate it will take nearly to Maa biraja but once you enter there the priest will start begging 🙄 They will say you came from vip gate and should pay... The priests here are hopeless.... There is no ticket system here only begging....
