Review : Hello all,
No introduction is needed for the Swamimalai Murugan Temple, a well-known and revered destination for devotees. This temple attracts thousands of visitors throughout the year, with special occasions like Karthigai star, Vaigasi Visagam, and Panguni Uthiram witnessing an overwhelming crowd eager to get a glimpse of Lord Swaminatha, the majestic deity holding His Vel.
Many marriages are performed here, and we had the privilege of attending one such ceremony for our relative. The temple also hosts regular events such as ear-piercing ceremonies, head tonsuring, and other rituals, especially on auspicious muhurtham days.
At the entrance, devotees can offer prayers to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, as well as to the Navagraha and Goddess Durga sannithis.
Please note, mobiles are not allowed inside the temple. Visitors must purchase a ₹5 token and submit their phones to security.
Stay tuned for more updates!
