  Review : Arulmigu Solaimalai Murugan Temple is a powerful temple, located atop a hill covered with dense forests. Pazhamudhircholai is one among the 6 prominent abodes of Lord Muruga (Arupadaiveedu) in Alagar Hills Reserve Forest around 25 kms away from Madurai. You have to climb the hill to reach this temple.   Review : It is pronounced as palamuthircholai. So, when you ask for directions, use this word..temple is really good. There is 10 rupees charge for bus ride to temple after getting this place. Three temples exist. Two on the hill and one on the bottom. Prior to visit murgan temple, after getting off the paid bus 10 rupees ride, walk towards the top of road for another temple where you can take bath, supposedly water is equalivent kashi ganga. You can drink this water or take home.. bottles are available for 15 rupees rate. We used our owner water bottle. Once you are done with this temple, come down to murgan temple and get blessings then take 10 rupees bus ride to get bottom and go to other temple.

  Review : Just divine and enchanting. The temple’s location itself is pure bliss situated on a hill surrounded by greenery. The climate was very pleasant in the morning. There were enough parking spots. Can be reached in 5 to 10 minutes by vehicle. Also accessible by foot. The place is filled with monkeys. So beware.
