  Review : Very beautiful temple with very short queues of here. One can come with family and friends to see this shaktipeeth famously known for the sati mata for the shattered body pieces from which one hand got fall at this place and then got disappear after falling from heaven.   Review : This is one of the important 51 shaktipeeths where maa Sati's body parts fell during the dance by lord Shiva and here the part that fell is the right hand of maa sati or parvati devi and has disappeared which is called as Alopi in the local language so this is called as Alopi devi mandir and in Telugu the devi is something referred as Madhura meenakshi( correct me if I'm wrong). The temple is newly renovated and also still being renovated i think because the artifacts on the rock walls are incomplete but the the arts on cement walls around the temple are very good and they are 3D architecture which looks too real.many famous temples are carved in 3D here. The temple is medium maintained and has some divine presence.

According to legend, this spot marks the final place where a part of Sati's body disappeared, hence the name “Alopi,” meaning “vanished.” Another local tale suggests a bride mysteriously disappeared from her palanquin here, and the people began worshiping her as a divine form. The temple’s architecture is simple but spiritually powerful. The cradle, draped in red cloth and garlands, is the center of devotion. A small well with a Sri Yantra is believed to have healing properties. Additional shrines in the complex are dedicated to Lord Hanuman and forms of Goddess Durga. Alopi Devi Mandir comes alive during Navratri and the Kumbh Mela, attracting large crowds for special rituals and devotional music. Located just a few kilometers from Prayagraj Junction and near the sacred Triveni Sangam, it is easily accessible.
